This is a contract on-site role for a SAP APO SNP and Deployment Functional Consultant at INDIA - REMOTE Work from Home *.

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled SAP APO SNP and Deployment Functional Consultant to join our team. The consultant will focus on implementing, configuring, and optimizing the Supply Network Planning (SNP) and Deployment functionalities within the SAP APO module. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient planning, stock allocation, and deployment strategies across the supply chain to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Network Planning (SNP):
Configure and optimize SNP planning processes, withHeuristics.
Design and implement SNP master data, planning books, and process chains for end-to-end planning cycles.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop robust supply chain strategies to optimize inventory, production, and distribution planning.
Deployment Planning:
Define and configure deployment strategies to manage stock allocation and replenishment across the supply chain.
Implement deployment heuristics processes to ensure efficient stock transfers and demand fulfillment.
Manage transportation lanes, quotas, and priorities to achieve optimal deployment planning.
Integration:
Integrate APO SNP and Deployment functionalities with SAP ECC for smooth supply chain execution.
Configure CIF (Core Interface) for data synchronization between systems.
Testing and Validation:
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for APO SNP and Deployment functionalities.
Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues during testing and post-implementation.
Training and Documentation:
Provide training to end-users and key stakeholders on APO SNP and Deployment processes.
Create and maintain functional documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and user manuals.
Support and Continuous Improvement:
Offer post-implementation support for SNP and Deployment functionalities.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization to enhance supply chain performance.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Expertise in SAP APO SNP Heuristics
In-depth knowledge of Deployment planning, stock transfer management, and transportation lanes.
Experience in configuring SNP master data, planning areas, and deployment priorities.
Proficiency in CIF (Core Interface) for integrating APO with ECC
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including inventory and production planning.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of TLB (Transport Load Builder) functionalities within APO.
Familiarity with other APO modules like DP (Demand Planning) and TLB
Experience with enhancements with BAPIs and Function Modules in ABAP to resolve functional issues.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, IT, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience as an SAP APO SNP and Deployment consultant.
SAP certification in APO or related modules is a plus.
Soft Skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
