Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP APO (Advanced Planning &; Optimization) Consultant with 3-5 years of hands-on experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, support, and continuous improvement of the SAP APO system, with a focus on demand planning, supply network planning, and production planning. You will collaborate closely with business teams to understand requirements and optimize processes to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
SAP APO Configuration &; Implementation:

Configure SAP APO modules (DP, SNP, PP/DS) according to business requirements.
Lead the implementation of SAP APO solutions in coordination with functional teams and business stakeholders.
Develop and implement best practices for system design, integration, and support.
Business Process Mapping:

Analyze and map business processes for demand planning, supply planning, and production planning.
Translate business requirements into system configurations and technical specifications.
Requirements Gathering &; Solution Design:

Conduct workshops with business users to gather requirements and identify business needs.
Design and deliver optimal APO solutions in alignment with business processes and goals.
End-to-End Support &; Troubleshooting:

Provide ongoing support to business users, ensuring smooth and efficient use of SAP APO.
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP APO issues (DP, SNP, PP/DS) related to planning and execution processes.
Testing and Training:

Prepare test scenarios and test scripts for system and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Conduct end-user training sessions, preparing user manuals and documentation to ensure smooth adoption of the solution.
Data Management &; Reporting:

Manage and optimize master data, such as product master, location master, and planning book data.
Develop custom reports and dashboards as per business requirements using SAP APO's reporting tools.
Integration &; Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with other SAP teams (SD, MM, WM, PP, etc.) for cross-functional integration.
Work with technical teams for the integration of SAP APO with other systems (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, third-party systems).
Continuous Improvement:

Proactively identify areas for process improvements and drive system optimization efforts.
Keep up-to-date with the latest SAP APO features and functionality and implement upgrades and patches as needed.
Required Skills &; Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years of experience working with SAP APO (Advanced Planning &; Optimization), specifically in modules such as Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS).
Technical Skills: Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP APO configuration and customization, including integration with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other systems.
Business Process Understanding: Solid understanding of supply chain planning processes such as demand planning, inventory management, production planning, and distribution.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on resolution of planning-related issues.
Certifications: SAP APO certifications (optional but preferred).
Project Experience: Prior experience in SAP APO implementation, upgrade, or support projects.
