Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer with a strong background in Web Dynpro development to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of SAP ABAP programming, have significant experience with Web Dynpro for ABAP, and a deep understanding of SAP modules and integration. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex SAP applications and user interfaces to meet the needs of our business.
Key Responsibilities
SAP ABAP Development
Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
Develop custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEFW objects).
Web Dynpro Development
Design and develop Web Dynpro for ABAP applications and components.
Create interactive and user-friendly interfaces for SAP applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Web Dynpro applications.
Technical Design And Documentation
Prepare technical design specifications based on functional requirements.
Document technical designs, coding standards, and development processes.
Performance Optimization
Optimize ABAP and Web Dynpro code for performance improvements.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Collaboration
Work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Support And Maintenance
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP applications.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
Extensive experience with Web Dynpro for ABAP.
Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI, HR).
Proficient in developing custom SAP applications and enhancements.
Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 is a plus.
Solid knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP certification in ABAP or relevant modules.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with integration tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO).
