Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developer with extensive experience in OData services to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP development, a thorough understanding of SAP modules, and a proven track record of implementing and managing OData services. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications and services to meet the needs of our business.
Key Responsibilities
SAP ABAP Development
Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
Create and maintain custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEFW objects).
OData Services
Develop and maintain OData services for integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
Design and implement OData service interfaces, ensuring seamless data exchange between SAP and other platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OData services.
Technical Design And Documentation
Prepare technical design specifications based on functional requirements.
Document technical designs, coding standards, and development processes.
Performance Optimization
Optimize ABAP code for performance improvements.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Collaboration
Work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Support And Maintenance
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP applications.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
Extensive experience with OData services in SAP.
Strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI, HR).
Proficient in developing custom SAP applications and enhancements.
Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 is a plus.
Solid knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP certification in ABAP or relevant modules.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience with integration tools (e.g., SAP PI/PO).
