Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant
Reports To: Global ABAP Lead
Role Type: Individual Contribution
Location: Pune or Bengaluru
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The SAP ABAP Developer is responsible for the gathering of SAP requirements and specifications, analyzing, designing, documenting, coding, testing, configuring, deploying, implementing and maintaining systems and applications.
Key responsibilities
Experience of 10+years in ABAP development, especially in ABAP development prefer to have experience in S/4HANA environment.
Profound knowledge in core ABAP and advanced ABAP developments, including OOPS ABAP concepts.
Working experience in ABAP managed database procedures and table functions.
Good hands-on experience with OData services development.
Self-organized & flexible to take-up new tasks as needed
Good communication skills (both verbal & written)
Develop, customize, enhance, fix and maintain codes, applications and systems. Dialogue programming and transaction development
Maintenance of screens, forms and reports, function modules
Further development of ECC
- 0 / S/4 HANA
Carrying out development tasks using current programming methods (SAP ABAP, UI5 / Fiori)
Connection of SAP subsystems and interfaces. Good experience in working with the interface between sap and non-sap systems
Your profile
Qualifications and Experience:
10+ years experience in Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP)
Fluency in English. German language skills would be a strong plus.
Excellent knowledge of ABAP Object Oriented Concepts, Debugging, Code Inspector and other SAP development tools.
Code push down with CDS, AMDP technique and effective usage.
Very good programming knowledge in SAP interfaces: Web service, BAPI and RFC, O-DATA, SAP interfaces
Good to have hands on/exposure to PI/PO/CPI.
Very good knowledge of form development (SAP Script, Smart forms, Adobe forms)
Good knowledge of enhancement options in SAP (Badi, Enhancement, Customer Functions, BTE, Implicit/explicit)
Experience in the FIORI environment
Knowledge of ALE / IDOC
Strong team player ability and passion to work in a global team.
Good to have exposure to cloud environment and connected interfacing.
Good to have exposure in extensibility App for S4HANA system.
Education:
Any Engineering Graduate Degree
