SAP ABAP Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP ABAP Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SAP ABAP development with a minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience. As a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom SAP solutions to meet business requirements. You will work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain custom SAP solutions using ABAP programming language.
Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Design, develop, and implement enhancements, modifications, and customizations to existing SAP systems.
Perform unit testing and support system integration testing, ensuring high quality and reliability of developed solutions.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP related issues.
Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation activities.
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, and continuously enhance technical skills.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior ABAP developers as needed.
Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, CO, and experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
Proficient in ABAP programming including Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW).
Experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, OData services, and SAP Cloud Platform is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly understand complex business processes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
