Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Functional Consultant with 3-6 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet our clients business needs. You will work closely with clients to gather requirements, configure Salesforce, and ensure successful project delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Work closely with clients to understand their business processes and requirements.
Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to gather detailed business and functional requirements.
Document and analyze client requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
Design scalable and effective Salesforce solutions to meet client needs.
Configure Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
Customize Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and other components.
Lead the implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Coordinate with project teams, including developers, administrators, and stakeholders.
Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables, providing regular updates to clients and internal teams.
Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to ensure successful user adoption.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, troubleshooting issues and optimizing solutions.
Develop and execute test plans to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather client feedback for continuous improvement.
Ensure solutions are delivered with high quality and meet client expectations.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of solutions, including requirements, design specifications, and user guides.
Involves integration of cloud applications and require knowledge of APIs, pre-scripting, post-scripting and integration testing.
Interacts with project managers to drive an optimized solution within known constraints.
Generate and analyze reports to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
Help build out coding best practices, contribute to build tools, and establish design patterns.
Utilize a sound understanding of data structures, algorithms and database principles to implement.
Required Skills:
3-6 years of experience as a Salesforce Functional Consultant or in a similar role.
Proven experience in Salesforce configuration, customization, and implementation.
Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
Proficiency in gathering requirements, business process mapping, and documentation.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Consultant) are a plus.
Familiarity with Salesforce automation tools (e.g., Process Builder, Flow, Workflow Rules).
Familiarity with code repositories like Gitlab, build tools and CI/CD processes
Basic understanding of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Working knowledge of compliance and release management processes.
Familiarity with Agile development methodology - working in sprints, grooming work, etc..
