Job Summary:
Experience: 5+ years as Functional Consultant
Responsibilities of Salesforce Functional Consultant includes analysing client needs and business processes, translating them into Salesforce solutions, and ensuring successful implementation. Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients and internal teams, to gather requirements, design solutions, configure Salesforce features, and provide ongoing support and optimization.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and requirements.
Analyse client needs and recommend Salesforce solutions to address their challenges and achieve their objectives.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional designs and configure Salesforce features accordingly.
Customize Salesforce functionality using declarative tools such as Process Builder, Flow, Workflow Rules, and Validation Rules.
Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and other programming languages as needed.
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure successful adoption of Salesforce solutions.
Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimization of Salesforce implementations.
Stay informed about Salesforce updates, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve solutions and processes.
Document requirements, solution designs, configuration changes, and support processes.
Participate in activities, including demos, scoping sessions, and proposal development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201), Salesforce Business Analyst, or Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant preferred.
5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Functional Consultant or similar role, with a strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and customization capabilities.
Ability to write basic Salesforce queries (SOQL).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA is a plus.
