We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to translate the vision of our business users and analysts into technical solutions on the Salesforce Platform. We are not just looking for a developer, but a problem solver who is passionate about understanding our business processes and identifying IT improvements to deliver business value. The ideal candidate will maximize standard functionality to ensure robust and scalable solutions that minimize technical debt, but also be proficient in Salesforce Flows and Apex to utilize as warranted. This role will be primarily focused on the Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud modules but will also have opportunity in work across a broad Salesforce ecosystem, including PLM and QMS solutions.
Your Impact
Heres where youll demonstrate your competencies:
- Collaborates with business users and IT business analysts to gain a deep understanding of our business processes and challenges.
- Establishes detailed solution plans, selecting the simplest available architecture to meet and exceed acceptance criteria.
- Evaluates existing IT architecture and solutions to drive continuous improvement in system performance and usability.
- Develops configuration and coding in accordance with the solution plan, coordinating and completing code reviews, static code analysis, and unit testing as appropriate to deliver first time right solutions.
- Manages the configuration and code associated with each user story, promoting or demoting through the respective Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environment with the ASP DevOps platform.
- Coordinates solution demonstrations with stakeholders and supports user acceptance testing to validate user requirements.
- Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals.
- Routine work on the tickets or task submitted by user and provide quick resolution without breaching SLA.
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
- Performs other duties assigned as needed.
Our Needs
Heres what well need from you:
- High School or above;
- At least 5 years development experience in the Salesforce platform.
- Medical Device Industry experience is a plus
Required types of skill or abilities include:
- Technical Proficiency in Salesforce Ecosystem:
- Declarative Capabilities: Understand process automation, workflows, validations, flow and other declarative features.
- Apex: Write custom code for applications integration, triggers, wrappers, schedule jobs, error logging, Test classes etc.
- Lightning Component Framework: Essential for creating responsive and interactive web components within Salesforce.
- Data Modeling and Management: Familiarity with Salesforces data structures and best practices specifically Sales, service, and Field Service lightning
- Integration Patterns and Practices: Knowledge of integrating Salesforce with other systems using HTTP call out and latest named credentials. SOAP call and REST endpoint for outbound and inbound call. Integrating with SAP is plus skill set.
- Web Development Technologies: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. These skills are valuable for customizing user interfaces and enhancing user experience.
- Experienced and proficient with the Atlassian DevOps solutions (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket) a plus
- Experience with Copado DevOps solution a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce Einstein Copilot and AI solutions a plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Navigate complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. Clear, concise, and complete documentation of solutions, business process etc.,
- Logical Thinking: Debug code, optimize performance, design scalable architectures, and align customizations with best practices.
- Domain Knowledge: Understand the business processes and industry-specific needs that Salesforce solutions address.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with stakeholders, project managers, and other team members. Should have excellent communication and presentation skill.
- Continuous Learning and Adaptability: Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices. Adapt to evolving technologies and changing business requirements.
