We are seeking a skilled Techno functional Consultant to join our dynamic team.
This role combines functional expertise with technical proficiency to deliver comprehensive technical solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem and boundary systems to enable global sales operational efficiencies.
The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of functional expertise and technical proficiency, enabling them to design, implement, and optimize technical solutions that drive business value.
The role will work closely with global IT to provide direction that align with business objectives.
These activities range from understanding database models, end to end solution architecture strategy, workflows driven by data, compliance and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Transforming business requirements into global technical solutions by applying industry standards and approaches
Provide expert guidance on a range of Sales operations/CRM features, capabilities, and integration strategies
Design and implement solutions that align with business needs and Salesforce best practices
Configure applications and design solutions to meet specific business requirements, utilizing both out-of-the-box features and custom development
Analyse current workflows and systems to identify areas for improvement and automation
Develop custom configurations, including Apex triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components and flow to extend application functionality.
Troubleshoot complex issues involving both functional and technical aspects of Sales-related technologies.
Stay updated on managed application features, Salesforce platform updates, and industry trends
Lead change management process from sandbox environments to production environments.
Conduct periodic health checks and provide recommendations for optimizing applications
Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting both functional and technical issues
Optimize managed application(s) performance, focusing on efficient queries, bulk processing, and adherence to Salesforce governor limits
Create detailed solution design documents, including process flows, data models, and integration architectures
Basic understanding of quote to cash methodologies, solutions, technologies to include eCommerce/eProcurement workflows
Required Skills
Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, customization, and development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components and Flow)
Experience with release management, source control, and deployment technologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST, SOAP, Bulk API).
Experience with cross-cloud Salesforce (SFDC) implementations integrated with other cloud and on-premise systems.
Experience with requirements gathering and business process mapping
Preferred Skills
Experience with other Salesforce AppExchange products
Knowledge of change management principles
Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)
Experience with integration and deployment tools
Experience with project management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) and technologies (Task ray preferred, Smartsheet, Easy Project)
Experience with eCommerce/eProcurement and boundary systems (Elastic path, Jitterbit, Eloqua, ZoomInfo, HubSpot)
Understanding of service and application life cycle management (cradle to grave)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
5-8 years of experience with Salesforce administration and development
5-8 years of experience with SaaS technology delivery and support
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
