Role Description
- Develop and communicate a comprehensive Salesforce architecture and application strategy that supports the organization's business goals and long-term technology vision.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
- Architecture Design and Standards: Define and maintain architectural standards, principles, guidelines, and best practices for application development across the organization.
- Design and create high-level architecture diagrams, system components, and data flow models to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools that fit the architectural vision and goals.
- Identify potential architectural risks and provide mitigation strategies to ensure security, performance, scalability, and maintainability of application and integration solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data privacy standards, and internal governance policies related to application and architecture.
- Customer Service Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, infrastructure, security, and business units to ensure architectural alignment and effective execution of projects.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in architectural matters, providing guidance and recommendations to development teams and stakeholders.
- Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions that connect various applications, systems, and data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and real-time communication.
What are the Critical success factors for the Role
- Total experience of 12-15 years of CRM experience with a minimum of 8 years on the Salesforce platform development and architecture.
- Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, platform, Community Clouds, Heroku, and MuleSoft.
- Expert-level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable the achievement of the desired business outcomes.
- Strong background in the design/development of large web-based systems, or complete software product lifecycle exposure.
- Salesforce Certification Preferred (Application & System Architect)
- Strong understanding of project management nuances.
- Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions Integration Architecture Platform Security.
