As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for hiring, training, and managing a team of sales individuals, while also coordinating with design leaders and designers to ensure a seamless client experience. Your primary focus will be on driving sales growth, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction, and fostering a culture of excellence within the sales unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, onboard, train, and manage a high-performing team of sales individuals.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and feedback to team members to enhance their sales skills and performance.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Sales Management:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Monitor sales activities, pipelines, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive results.
- Lead by example by actively engaging in sales activities and maintaining a personal sales quota.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with design leaders and designers to ensure alignment between sales efforts and design capabilities.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing and customer support, to optimise the client experience and drive customer satisfaction.
- Sales Planning:
- Develop comprehensive sales plans and forecasts in alignment with company objectives.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Client Experience:
- Ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support throughout the sales process.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of success in sales management, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the design industry or related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems.
