Job Description

As a Sales Team Leader you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets in the Indian region. Your role involves managing the sales team, identifying new business opportunities. You will play a pivotal role in promoting educational products and services, enhancing market share, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy and Planning


Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve organizational goals.

Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.

Set sales targets and ensure effective execution of sales plans to meet or exceed targets.

  • Team Management:

Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team, ensuring high levels of motivation and performance.

Assign sales territories, set individual sales targets, and monitor team performance.

Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, provide feedback

Customer Relationship Management

  • Sales Operations:

Manage the sales pipeline, track progress, and report on sales performance.

Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets for senior management.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

  • Product Knowledge and Training:

Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's products and services.

Provide training and support to the sales team on product features, benefits, and usage.

Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the education industry.
  • Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any degree. A Master's degree is an attractive add on. Ladies preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales within the education industry.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong understanding of the educational landscape in India

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Team management

Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.

Strong negotiation and closing skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
