You will be working as Sales Support Specialist - Sales Process and will be part of Electrification business for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Sales Support Manager and will be responsible for implementing and operationalizing the marketing and sales processes, sales support infrastructure and sales training in the dedicated area. Implementing, operating, maintaining of the tools specific to sales process applying operational excellence methodologies and providing solutions and services to local organizations in APAC IN Region.

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting at the dedicated area, proper implementation and communication of the sales processes, e.g., lead to opportunities to quotations conversion process, demand side forecasting process. Ensuring a proper communication and updates on issues related to tools development and new functionalities
  • Performing various data analysis related to opportunity to order process, identifying potential improvements and recommending future actions in cooperation with sales or local business unit to obtain better future results
  • Ensuring cost effective on time delivery of regional and local projects implementation, rollouts and enhancements that streamline sales operations team workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual tasks related to opportunity to order process and related sub process
  • Monitoring and striving to maintain high level of quality, accuracy and process consistency. Supporting the implementation of tools (ERP and connected tools) enabling latest and updated technologies to local sales units
  • Responsible for hyper care and maintenance requirements, actively following up and taking care of related ERP tools and systems
  • Responsible for the design, development, deployment and distribution of common sales reports, SAP reports essential to the sales community. Supporting the deployment of various process and associated tools, introduction, deployment and user training and actively support the related functional competency programs in the dedicated area
  • Generating reports and analyzing data on the performance of existing process, tools and ongoing projects. Proposing and implementing improvements based on data-driven insights
  • Improvising sales tools and conduct training sessions for commercial operations and sales team members on the best usage of tools, aiming to increase sales outcomes and transparency. Creating and updating training materials and documentation

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, minimum 5 years working experience in SAP Configuration and related ABAP coding as consultant
  • Working knowledge on SAP SD and MM requirement analysis, functional specification, configuration and related coding supervision, remote function calls design and integration, testing, cutover, roll out activities
  • Possessing hands on experience in ERP functional, design, configuration and technical coding modules together with deep understanding of business processes with proven ability to bridge the gap between technical ERP requirements and business objectives with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, very specific to opportunity to order process
  • Strong understanding of commercial operations process preferred: opportunity order cash; basic and intermediate understanding on P2P process
  • Basic skills on AI, ML, CoPilot, Hana, Python would be an added advantage
  • Ability to work across different cultures and timing to suit APAC region working hours (6AM to 3PM IST)
