Role Overview: As a Sales Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our sales operations, driving our top-of-the-funnel efforts to engage potential clients. This role is a unique blend of outreach, sales strategy, and customer relationship management.
You'll start by mastering the art of cold calling, setting up demos, and nurturing leads through the sales cycle. As you grow, you'll take on more responsibilities, including giving demos, closing deals, and managing accounts. You will also be doing walk-ins with prospects in your city, which is the best way to introduce how amazing Pettle is.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cold calls and outreach efforts to identify and engage potential customers.
- Schedule and conduct product demos, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of each prospect.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine sales strategies and approaches based on market feedback.
- Participate in the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, with the aim of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
- Provide exceptional customer support during the onboarding process and resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and deepen customer relationships, encouraging renewals and expansions of our services.
- Travel to physical meetings with clients 2-3 times a week to strengthen relationships and close deals.
- Collaborate with the product development team by sharing customer feedback and insights to help shape future product enhancements.
- Execute walk-in demos with potential prospects in your city.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably with selling software.
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and persuade.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable with remote work but able to travel for in-person meetings 3-2 times a week.
- A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible lead follow-up and sales development at multiple levels within an organisation.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales software.
- Being a pet parent is a huge plus.
