nA Day in the Life
nTo gain Market share and grow market in the Aortic & Endovascular Business by promoting, selling, providing technical support, focusing on market development activities, within the assigned territory.

  • nRepresent Medtronic Aortic (Endovascular Therapy solutions) as the point of contact for assigned Territory.
  • nResponsible for sales, providing the best clinical case support to the Interventional-Radiologist| Vascular Surgery | Cardiologist, and implementing market development activities.
  • nConduct sales calls to promote & have Technical interaction on Medtronic's Aortic Therapy & Products.
  • nEducates and trains physicians on technical Support relating to Aortic Cases in the cathlab.
  • nAnalyze and monitor sales data, design a business plan, and customer-related activities and communicate market intelligence back to the business.
  • nEstablishing and maintaining business relationship with the Key opinion leaders and the hospital decision makers in assigned accounts
  • nResponsible for effective channel partner management and develops clear and effective written proposals, quotations for current and prospective customers.
nSALES PROFESSIONAL CAREER STREAM: Typically sales professional individual contributors with direct sales responsibilities. May direct the work of other lower level sales professionals or manage sales processes and / or accounts involving multiple team members. The majority of time is spent establishing and maintaining customer relationships, developing new customer relationships, implementing sales strategies and closing sales.

nAutonomy: Seasoned sales professional managing large accounts involving multiple team members.
nSecures and maintains product distributions and/or services, and maintains effective agreements.
nWorks independently with limited supervision.
nBuilds a network of relationships.
nOrganizational Impact: Works to achieve individual sales targets and execute on sales plans by developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts, expanding market presence, and building strong client base.
nHas significant impact on achieving department's sales results and may contribute to the development of goals for the department and planning efforts.
nWorks on one or more large accounts, involving multiple team members.
nDrives adoption and penetration in accounts.
nInnovation and Complexity: Makes improvements of sales processes, and tools to enhance performance of the job area.
nRecommends changes in account strategy and tactics to achieve sales goals .
nDemonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
nCommunication and Influence: Influences internal contacts (within the job area) and external suppliers, customers and / or vendors regarding policy, practices and procedures.
nCommunicates with external suppliers, customers and / or vendors, involving advanced negotiation and / or presentations in order to manage relationships and close sales.
nLeadership and Talent Management: Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignment.
nMay be responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other sales professionals and / or support employees.
nMay manage large accounts at this level, requiring responsibility for the delegation of work and the review of others work product .
nMust Have: Minimum Requirements
  • nRequires a University Degree in Science or pharmacy and minimum of 6 -9 years of relevant experience
  • nProven sales experience in Cardiology equipment business or Cardiac devices or experience in Endovascular /Peripheral Vascular Business.
  • nDemonstrated successful sales performance & sales planning ability.
  • nStrong analytical and effective communication skills.
  • nA willingness to learn, especially technical information.
nNice to Have
  • nBiomedical engineering or Engineering background
  • nA Master's degree in business administration
  • nExperience in the Endovascular /Specifically Aortic segment and proven track record with technical training assignments
