A Day in the Life
To gain Market share and grow market in the Aortic & Endovascular Business by promoting, selling, providing technical support, focusing on market development activities, within the assigned territory.

- Represent Medtronic Aortic (Endovascular Therapy solutions) as the point of contact for assigned Territory.
- Responsible for sales, providing the best clinical case support to the Interventional-Radiologist| Vascular Surgery | Cardiologist, and implementing market development activities.
- Conduct sales calls to promote & have Technical interaction on Medtronic's Aortic Therapy & Products.
- Educates and trains physicians on technical Support relating to Aortic Cases in the Cath lab.
- Analyze and monitor sales data, design a business plan, and customer-related activities and communicate market intelligence back to the business.
- Establishing and maintaining business relationship with the Key opinion leaders and the hospital decision makers in assigned accounts
- Responsible for effective channel partner management and develops clear and effective written proposals, quotations for current and prospective customers
SALES PROFESSIONAL CAREER STREAM: Typically sales professional individual contributors with direct sales responsibilities. May direct the work of other lower level sales professionals or manage sales processes and / or accounts involving multiple team members. The majority of time is spent establishing and maintaining customer relationships, developing new customer relationships, implementing sales strategies and closing sales.

Recommends changes in account tactics to achieve sales goals .
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

Obtains or provides information requiring some explanation or interpretation .
Communicates with external customers and / or vendors, involving negotiation and / or presentations in order to manage relationships and close sales.
Leadership and Talent Management: Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
May provide guidance and assistance to entry level sales professionals and / or support employees.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Requires a University Degree in Science or pharmacy and minimum of 3- 6 years of relevant experience
- Proven sales experience in Cardiology equipment business or Cardiac devices or experience in Endovascular /Peripheral Vascular Business.
- Demonstrated successful sales performance & sales planning ability.
- Strong analytical and effective communication skills.
- A willingness to learn, especially technical information.
Nice to Have
- Biomedical engineering or Engineering background
- A Master's degree in business administration
- Experience in the Endovascular /Specifically Aortic segment and proven track record with technical training assignments
