The Sales Operations Manager will manage a team of operations support professionals covering the following areas:
- Sales Reporting and Analytics - Support and complete reporting and analytics projects for sales team to better understand sales and pipeline data.
- Internal Software/Tech Stack Support - Manage and execute against a queue of support and project requests regarding tools and software used internally.
- General Sales Operations - Support general operations initiatives and projects to completion.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and drive the team to meet and exceed SLAs, project deadlines, and quality measures.
- Coach, train, and develop Ops representatives to succeed in hitting daily, weekly, and monthly input and output targets.
- Collaborate and align regularly with client Sr. Leadership and sales teams to understand needs, scope projects, and build out schedules and timelines for completion.
- Establish operational excellence by engaging, assessing, planning, and executing on key initiatives outlined and established by the client, program management, and Senior Leadership.
- Assist team in project management, following project schedules, and report progress regularly to client stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent and effective communication by holding regular team meetings/huddles and sharing performance expectations and company culture/values.
- Establish team processes, procedures, and outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement, and build/execute plans to implement.
- Utilize data and reporting tools to generate insights, identify best practices, report behavior trends, and gaps in targets, and make recommendations to senior leadership to improve team and program performance through weekly reporting and formal business reviews.
Experience:
- Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, MIS, Information Technology, Project Management, or equivalent.
- 5 or more years of prior experience leading a team of 5+ in an operations, project management, or technology environment.
- Working knowledge of sales environments, processes, reporting, etc.
- Experience with Sales CRM tools (ex. Salesforce,) Sales Acceleration tools (ex. Outreach.io, Gong.io,) Project Management tools, Reporting tools (ex. PowerBI,) and Data Storage tools (ex. Snowflake) highly preferred.
- Results-oriented with a history of driving performance to exceed goals.
- Ability to drive results with little oversight and ability to demonstrate initiative.
- Must be highly organized and demonstrate consistent follow-through and communication efforts with all stakeholder interactions.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to easily adapt to multiple complex internal information systems.
- Manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously with a passion for detail.
- Proactive with excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- You work well in matrix environments requiring you to work and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Track record of coaching and developing low performers to reach target attainment.
- Demonstrated ability to understand data/reporting trends, showcase/duplicate success and identify/correct opportunities.
