Job Responsibilities
- Manage & achieve sales volume, value & growth targets .
- Tracking competition activities and local Market trend.
- Expand wide retail distribution network within the territory and implement effective network management schemes.
- Will be in charge of independent responsibility of managing the Depot
- To provide business and execute plan for Retail Sales throught distributors & dealers.
- Responsible for achieving Secondary Volume, Brand and Market Share targets at monthly level.
- Implement strategies on product positioning and visibility, market penetration, new market development, channel segmentation, sales mix to augment business and exceed profit margins.
- Plan and execute the marketing & merchandising initiatives and brand activations within the budget targets in lines with the organizational and regional objectives
- Plan and execute sales promotion activities to generate demand/ push and build/ sustain & improve brand image
- Implement and manage secondary planning and stock forecasting strategies with high levels of accuracy and consistency.
- Lead the sales team keeping a high level of motivation & feedback with a view to build an aggressive and motivated sales management team in the branch
- Liaison with Marketing and Finance to set sales goals and budgets to meet and exceed Sales revenue and profitability targets.
- Commercial discipline: Manage various statutory formalities as per regulation
- Strong focus on people leadership dimension. Nurture, Grow and Manage functional talent.
- Set the direction and an innovative consumer facing culture in the team by managing individual and team performance expectations and goals
- Gain market intelligence and visibility through competitive mapping and market trends across the state
Candidate profile
- FUCTIONAL COMPETENCE -The candidate should have strong functional competence in sales Strong Personal selling skills, DBR & team management, Channel management skills, decent analytical skills, problem solving and objection handling skills etc.
- STABILITY - The candidate should have decent & good stability as we recruit for long term and not job hoppers. Our assumption is that when he/she had stayed in a company for three years and more he would have seen different business cycles and with his growths we would come to know whether he had built business on sustainable way/route. Atleast one stint in one company he/she should have given a long tenure of 3+ years. Else please screen those profiles so that we don't waste time. I want our consultants themselves to do this screening and not you. We attach quite a weightage to this criterion of stability.
- WORKED IN REPUTED ORGANIZATIONS IN DESIRED ROLE(S) -The candidate should have worked atleast in one reputed organization in his entire career for the relevant experience as our bosses attach a weight also for this as you know or he/she should have worked for a push brands companies. I'm reiterating this so that our CONSULTANTS not give profiles to us just for the sake of giving profiles to make up for a number. There should be some value addition from the consultant's side for which we pay him/her and not forward profiles from the candidate bank. We want plug and play profiles and don't want wait and watch profiles as we don't have time to train them. Plug and play profiles stand a better chance to get selected.
- BEHAVIOURIAL COMPETENCE & CULTURE FITMENT -The candidate should exhibit attitude & good energy level, and should be able to handle unambiguous situations in the job. The candidate shouldn't be averse to handle chaotic situations. Intelligent and functionally strong people need not necessarily stay long in Wipro. So, we need to evaluate whether the individual's personality will find a fitment into our work culture and select.
- DECENT TRACK RECORD OF PERFORMANCE- The candidate should have an aggressive growth-oriented mindset and wants to work for his professional pride and not for the targets given. He/She should have delivered good/decent verifiable growths in previous organizations.
