Job Profile
As Sales Officer, you will be responsible for Primary Sales, & driving secondary sales thru ISR/PSR & Distributor Sales team.
Job Responsibilities
- To provide business and execute plan for Retail Sales thru distributors & dealers.
- Responsible for achieving Secondary Volume, Brand and Market Share targets at monthly level.
- Implement strategies on product positioning and visibility, market penetration, new market development, channel segmentation, sales mix to augment business and exceed profit margins.
- Plan and execute the marketing & merchandising initiatives and brand activations within the budget targets in lines with the organizational and regional objectives
- Plan and execute sales promotion activities to generate demand/ push and build/ sustain & improve brand image
- Implement and manage secondary planning and stock forecasting strategies with high levels of accuracy and consistency.
- New Distributor appointment & increasing sales thru existing distributors.
- Sales scheme /Trade scheme planning for Distributors & Traders.
- Calculation of (Return on Investment) ROI distributors and ensure that ROI should be better than committed ROI.
- Ensure proper availability of products on all the outlets.
- Ensure numeric distribution & width of distribution of products.
- Lead the sales team keeping a high level of motivation & feedback with a view to build an aggressive and motivated sales management team in the branch
- Liaison with Marketing and Finance to set sales goals and budgets to meet and exceed Sales revenue and profitability targets.
- Commercial discipline: Manage various statutory formalities as per regulation
- Strong focus on people leadership dimension. Nurture, Grow and Manage functional talent.
- Set the direction and an innovative consumer facing culture in the team by managing individual and team performance expectations and goals
- Gain market intelligence and visibility through competitive mapping and market trends across the state
Candidate profile
Graduate/MBA with 4-10 years of experience in Channel Sales in General Trade
Candidate should have good communication, calculations & analytical skills
Experience in FMCG Non foods products
Good communication skills
Experience in preparing sales scheme
