Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and target-driven Sales Officer to join our team, specializing in frozen chicken products. This role will focus on expanding and maintaining sales in both general trade (retail) and HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, and Catering) channels. The Sales Officer will play a key role in building relationships, managing key accounts, and achieving sales targets within designated regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Target Achievement
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities within the general trade and HORECA segments.
- Conduct market analysis to understand competition and customer needs.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the HORECA and retail channels.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through consistent service and support.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and product issues promptly.
- Account and Territory Management
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the assigned territory and create plans to penetrate key accounts.
- Conduct regular visits to clients, presenting product offerings and promotional deals.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, focusing on long-term partnerships.
- Product Knowledge and Training
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the frozen chicken product line and stay updated on industry trends.
- Provide product training and knowledge-sharing sessions to clients as needed.
- Gather customer feedback to aid in product development and improvement.
- Sales Reporting and Documentation
- Track sales performance, forecast sales trends, and prepare weekly/monthly sales reports.
- Manage and document all sales activities in the company's CRM system.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales within the food or FMCG industry, ideally with frozen products.
- Strong understanding of general trade and HORECA segments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
