Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Marketing Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the intersection of sales, marketing, and operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market trends, digital and performance marketing, and exceptional team leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business goals.

Sales Knowledge:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Analyse sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Support the sales team in meeting or exceeding targets through strategic planning and resource allocation.

Marketing Knowledge:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns, including digital and traditional channels, to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Analyse market trends and consumer behavior to refine marketing tactics and strategies.

Digital & Performance Marketing:

  • Lead the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Measure and analyse the performance of digital marketing efforts to optimize ROI.
  • Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies to ensure cutting-edge strategies.

Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure vendor services meet quality standards and timelines.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure seamless integration of services into company operations.

Client Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop tailored solutions that drive mutual success.

Team Leadership Skills:

  • Lead and mentor a team of sales, marketing, and operations professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members.

Understand Market Trends:

  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and potential threats to inform strategic planning.
  • Adjust strategies based on market insights to maintain a competitive edge.

Know What's Best for the Company and Client:

  • Balance the needs and goals of the company with those of the clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies that align with both company objectives and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, and operations management.
  • Strong understanding of digital and performance marketing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
