Job Purpose
- Oversees all sales and marketing activities.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Sales and Marketing:
- To build rapport with customers and expand Sales Lead's presence in India
- Lead the overall Sales and Marketing in India and ensure that Agencies provide adequate support.
- Timely communication with Manager on Pricing and Marketing Strategies
- Ensure company's revenue/loading target is fulfilled.
- Regional Key Account Management
Business Development
- To provide feedback to Head Office on the market developments in India
- Identify areas of expansion and cooperation.
- Identify Business opportunities and expansion plans.
Background and experience:
- 5 years experience within Surveyor Shipping Sales
- Knowledge of containers incl trade lanes, port, barging, pricing, freight forwarding, customs activities and procedures, and necessary legal requirements
- Shipping Documentation and Cargo Claims Management
