Job Title: Manager Digital Marketing & IT Consulting, Software Development
Reports to: CEO
The Sales Head will be responsible for driving revenue growth by leading the sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, and identifying new business opportunities. This role requires a seasoned sales leader who understands the digital marketing landscape, IT consulting services, and software development industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute sales strategies that align with the company's business goals for digital marketing, IT consulting, and software development services.
- Identify new market opportunities and create roadmaps to enter them successfully.
- Drive lead generation efforts through various channels including inbound, outbound, referrals, and partnerships.
Business Development:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to identify business needs and opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services.
- Work closely with the marketing team to improve outreach efforts, sales campaigns, and brand presence.
- Lead negotiations, close deals, and ensure contracts are profitable and beneficial for the company.
Sales Team Leadership:
- Manage, mentor, and grow the sales team, setting clear objectives, targets, and performance metrics.
- Provide ongoing training and development to ensure the team is equipped with the latest market trends and sales techniques.
- Monitor team performance and provide actionable feedback to improve sales outcomes.
Client Relationship Management:
- Oversee the entire sales cycle and ensure a smooth transition from sales to delivery for IT consulting and software development projects.
- Maintain key relationships with major clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Act as the point of escalation for client issues and work to resolve them proactively.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Work closely with the delivery teams to understand project scope and ensure realistic promises to clients.
- Collaborate with the product development team to understand the company's software solutions and effectively sell them to potential clients.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs in the digital marketing and IT/software space.
- Provide input to senior management on potential areas of business growth and service expansion.
Financial & Sales Reporting:
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, revenue reports, and detailed analyses for senior management.
- Monitor and manage the sales budget, ensuring cost-effective methods are employed to achieve maximum ROI.
Key Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years of sales experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within digital marketing, IT consulting, or software development companies.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing large, cross-functional sales teams and complex client portfolios.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing trends, IT consulting methodologies, and software development life cycles (SDLC).
