We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business in import and export logistics services. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the logistics industry. Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets for import and export logistics services.
2. Identify and engage with potential clients to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and optimize logistics operations.
5. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
6. Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and pricing quotations to clients.
7. Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to secure profitable business deals.
8. Monitor sales performance and generate regular reports for management review.
9. Provide timely and effective responses to client inquiries and concerns.
10. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote services and expand the client base.
Educational Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
2. Proven track record of success in sales 3-5 Years experience in the logistics (Import/Export)
3. Strong knowledge of import and export logistics processes and regulations.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
6. Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
7. Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience working with international clients and freight forwarding companies.
2. Familiarity with trade compliance and customs clearance procedures.
3. Previous experience in a similar sales role within the logistics industry.
