Job Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and achieving a minimum of 500,000 INR in gross profit individually by promoting and selling travel services and packages. This role requires building and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both inbound and outbound sales, a deep understanding of the travel and tourism industry, and the ability to generate leads and close sales effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Targets: Achieve a minimum of 500,000 INR in gross profit individually on a monthly basis by selling travel packages and related services.
- Client Acquisition: Identify potential clients, conduct sales presentations, and pitch travel services to corporate clients, groups, and individuals.
- Lead Generation: Actively seek out new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and online channels.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to increase business volume, meet and exceed sales targets, and improve overall profitability.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to offer competitive travel packages.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients, ensuring the best possible profit margins while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about all company travel offerings, including destinations, hotels, flights, and tours, to provide comprehensive guidance to clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns to attract more clients.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, including sales volume, client feedback, and profit margins, to the management.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or queries before, during, or after the travel.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, tourism, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in the travel and tourism industry.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets, particularly a minimum of 500,000 INR in gross profit.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of global travel destinations, pricing trends, and travel regulations.
- Proficient in CRM software and MS Office.
- A passion for travel and providing outstanding client experiences.
