Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in our India office for Maharashtra Region. As the person in charge of the sales revenue growth in Maharashtra Regional market, you will play a critical role in driving sales and expanding our market presence in Maharashtra Region. Your primary focus will be on generating new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships and achieving business targets within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Maharsathra Region with a focus on industrial, process automation and digitalization solutions.
- Develop a comprehensive sales strategy and execute plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
- Build a strong sales pipeline by actively prospecting and qualifying leads.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions that align with their business objectives.
Solution Selling:
- Understand Supcon's product and solution offerings thoroughly, and effectively communicate their value propositions to clients.
- Collaborate with technical teams to tailor solutions to meet client requirements.
Market Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors activities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential areas for business growth and product development.
Regional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with regional sales team members to leverage and share ideas and experiences on methods to improve Go-To-Market effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Head Quarter team members to ensure consistent value proposition messaging, sales processes and sales reports requirements.
Reporting and Forecasting:
- Prepare regular sales reports and accurate forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, making data-driven decisions to improve results.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales with a proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of industrial, process automation and digitalization technologies and their applications.
- Good contacts in Maharashtra region in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petro Chemical and General Industries
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive personality and resourceful in understanding the market conditions, customer behavior, competition positions and plan / adjust accordingly.
- Customer Focus mindset with high level of sincerity and curiosity to understand customer business pain points.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
