- Position Summary: The Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving sales and managing client relationships within the industrial automation sector. This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in handling large-scale projects, a strong network within key industries, and experience in leading a sales team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing solutions to various industries, including automotive, public sectors, defense, and aerospace.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence within key industry sectors.Client Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with major clients, including automotive manufacturers, public industries, defense, and aerospace sectors. Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.Project Handling: Oversee and manage turnkey projects from inception to completion. Ensure project deliverables are met within scope, budget, and timeline while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals. Provide guidance, support, and training to enhance team performance and achieve sales goals.
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Use insights to inform strategic decisions and adapt sales approaches.Reporting:
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management. Analyze sales data and metrics to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement.Experience:
5-10 years of experience in sales management within the industrial automation sector, with a focus on turnkey projects. Demonstrated success in handling large-scale projects and working with major industries including automotive, public sectors, defense, and aerospace.Education:
A diploma or engineering degree is preferred. An MBA with relevant experience in industrial products is also highly desirable.
