PENNEP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Sales Manager to lead our sales team in promoting and selling our IT products and services to businesses and organizations. The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record of achieving sales targets, building strong relationships with clients, and effectively leading a sales team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead-generation methods.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitor activity.
- Create and deliver presentations to clients and prospects, highlighting the features and benefits of our products and services.
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, using data and analytics to identify areas for improvement.
- Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on IT trends and best practices.
- Setting targets, creating performance plans, and maintaining standards for the sales team.
- Develop a scalable sales process and ensure representatives adhere to it correctly.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT sales or a related field, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience leading a sales team, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Knowledge of the IT industry and trends.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to use Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Strong foundational knowledge in information technology, including, software, and IT services.
- Comprehensive business knowledge to create realistic sales projections and objectives for the team.
- Ability to lead by example and act with integrity.
A bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
