About Native Roots: Native Roots is a leading distributor of high-quality cashew nuts, committed to delivering premium products to our customers. With a strong backing of a cashew processing unit in Udupi, we have been catering to the a diverse range of customers including GT, MT, Confectioners, Bakers, Corporates, HoReCa and D2C brands. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Territory Sales Manager to join our team and drive sales growth in assigned territories.

Job Description: As a Territory Sales Manager at Native Roots, you will be responsible for managing sales activities within your designated territory, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and fostering strong customer relationships. You will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory.

2. Identify and prioritize key accounts, prospects, and market segments for business development opportunities.

3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, including retailers, food manufacturers, and traders.

4. Conduct regular sales visits to clients to understand their needs, provide product information, and address any concerns.

5. Ensure the completion of a sale from order procurement, processing, delivery to collection of payments.

6. Update relevant reports, tools, trackers and applications provided by the company on a periodic basis.

7. Drive product awareness and promote our products through effective marketing initiatives and promotional activities.

8. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

9. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and fulfillment of customer orders.

10. Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to management, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement.

11. Stay updated on industry developments, product knowledge, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

12. Represent Native Roots at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and partners.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food distribution or FMCG industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients.
  • Basic user knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed sales targets and deliver results.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques, market analysis, and customer relationship management tools.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory as needed.
