Job Summary: The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, increase occupancy rates, and enhance brand awareness for Indie Stays Hotel. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing clients, and collaborating with the marketing team to create compelling promotions and packages.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to identify opportunities and challenges.
Create and manage a sales budget, forecasting future sales, and setting performance metrics.
2. Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, travel agents, event planners, and tour operators.
Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and presentations to potential clients.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote Indie Stays Hotel.
3. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
Handle client inquiries, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
4. Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, special offers, and marketing campaigns.
Utilize digital marketing channels, social media, and email marketing to reach target audiences.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
5. Team Collaboration and Leadership:
Work closely with the front office, reservations, and events teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Provide training and support to team members on sales techniques and best practices.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular sales reports, including sales activity, revenue performance, and market analysis.
Use data and analytics to measure the success of sales initiatives and make data driven decisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the hospitality industry, preferably within a boutique or independent hotel.
Strong understanding of sales principles, hospitality trends, and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital marketing tools.
Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to travel as needed and work outside regular business hours.
