Job Description
We are seeking an insurance sales manager who will be in charge of leading the sales staff and managing policy sales. An insurance sales manager is responsible for overseeing and achieving sales targets, assisting in the team's professional growth, and offering customer service.
You need to be comfortable working long hours, have great interpersonal skills, and be passionate about offering encouragement and assistance if you want to succeed as an insurance sales manager. Above all, a great insurance sales manager should be a goal-oriented individual, a superb leader, and have strong interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities:
Establishing and keeping track of sales goals: This involves setting specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) sales goals for the team or individual sales representatives. Regularly tracking progress towards these goals is essential to ensure sales targets are being met.
Supplying marketing plans, comments, and sales techniques: Providing the sales team with detailed marketing plans, sales strategies, and techniques can help improve their sales performance. This could include identifying target markets, creating promotional materials, and coaching on effective sales strategies.
Helping to achieve sales goals: As a sales manager, one of your key responsibilities is to support your team in achieving their sales targets. This may involve offering guidance, training, motivation, and resources to help salespeople succeed.
Staying current with changes in the sector: Keeping abreast of industry trends, market developments, competitor activities, and changing customer preferences is crucial for adapting sales strategies and staying ahead of the competition.
Responding to inquiries from clients: Promptly addressing inquiries from clients, providing accurate information, and offering excellent customer service are essential for maintaining client satisfaction and building strong client relationships.
Settling conflicts with clients: Sometimes, conflicts may arise with clients, such as issues with product/service delivery or customer complaints. Resolving these conflicts in a professional and timely manner is important to maintain a positive reputation and retain customer loyalty.
Skill Requirements:
Prior life insurance-related experience.
A valid BQP certification is must.
Sales savvy.
Strong grasp of products and policies.
Ability to mentor others.
Powerful leadership attributes.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
