Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Sales Manager with a relentless drive to fuel revenue growth, convert clients, and expand our market presence. Your mission will be to secure new business, transform leads into long-term partnerships, and consistently surpass sales targets. This role demands a laser focus on achieving exceptional sales outcomes.

  1. Design and implement strategies focused on aggressive revenue growth, aligning with company goals and continuously adjusting tactics for profitability.
  2. Lead direct sales efforts, setting a high standard for the team while utilizing industry knowledge and networks to identify new sales opportunities.
  3. Understand client needs deeply and tailor solutions to convert prospects into long-term clients, focusing on closing high-value deals.
  4. Identify emerging markets and trade lanes, building relationships with industry players to create new business opportunities and expand market reach.
  5. Stay informed on market trends and competitors, adjusting sales strategies to stay ahead and maintain a competitive edge.
  6. Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a results-driven culture that exceeds both individual and collective targets.
  7. Implement innovative sales strategies designed to outpace competitors and capture market share, refining them based on performance data.
  8. Establish trusted relationships with clients, regularly engaging to anticipate needs and provide tailored solutions that drive loyalty and repeat business.
  9. Set ambitious sales targets, continuously monitor performance, and apply corrective actions to exceed expectations.
  10. Navigate complex negotiations to secure profitable deals, ensuring all agreements align with long-term business goals.
  11. Provide data-driven reports to senior management, taking ownership of sales outcomes and holding the team accountable for results.
  12. Work closely with Operations, Pricing, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales efforts, aligning with overall company objectives.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Demonstrated success in Freight Forwarding Sales with a strong track record.
  • Ability to analyse market conditions and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Bachelors degree or MBA preferred.
  • Strong sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing.
  • Excellent interpersonal, commercial, and communication skills for building and managing relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and a team player.
  • Proficient in dynamic writing, presentation, relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and relevant regional languages, both written and verbal.
  • Regular travel within the assigned region is required.
  • Proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
