  • Building an extremely rich database of candidates filled with hard-to-get signals. Examples of such signals: Actively looking out for a job, Recommendation/Feedback from people connected to them (i.e., scouts), Latest Resume, Current salary, Job Interests of the candidate.
  • Coming up with innovative ways to make undiscoverable talent discoverable.
  • Matching the right candidates with the right companies; reducing mismatches/rejects from each side.

The Role

Hi, I am Chetan, cofounder and CPO of Weekday. A few months back, we started our subscription business. Basically, we are building our platform as an enterprise product to be sold as a subscription. I am looking for someone to own its sales + account management piece. You will be our first sales hire.

Daily Work Would Be

  • 50% sales
  • 50% account management

Role Progression

  • Initially Individual Contributor (IC) for a few months
  • Then graduate to 80% IC + 20% manager in 3 months.

You Will Be The Perfect Fit If

  • You are great at sales and communication.
  • You are great at building processes and operations. You might be working on 200+ accounts in parallel.
  • You want to start up in 2 years as CEO / COO.
  • You are hands-on (I believe a great leader is a great IC first).

Interview Process

  • Small assignment
  • One interview with Anushka (our rockstar Senior Account Manager) - optional
  • One interview with Chetan (CPO)
  • One interview with Amit (CEO)
