Strategizes, leads, and directs the activities of Energy segment within India, to achieve short and long-term Commercial & financial objectives as set by the overall Hempel (global) and APEC Energy strategy.
Build and support high-performing teams with key focus on talent development
Key tasks:
Driving Sales efficiencies & scalability by leveraging Commercial Excellence tools (e.g. Revenue Management etc), Systems and processes such as CRM & CPQ
Introducing new product & service solutions into market through customer engagement & connect
Defending our existing market leadership and expand share of wallet in select segments and areas
Ensuring we cover the customer ecosystem/value chain in collaboration with supporting commercial functions such as BD, Solutions, Global key Accounts & BTE (Business Technical Expert)
Driving and ensuring seamless cross-functional operations across departments of Sales, Support functions and T&O
Managing commercial risk by handling exposure to terms, product specification, long term commitments, payment ability, etc.
Ensuring all activities are in line and comply with Hempel s corporate governance, operational and compliance policies and procedures as well as country specific law
Required education, experience and job-related skills:
Demonstrated drive for Sales & People Management
Good written/oral English with excellent interpersonal skills
Strategic, dynamic with strong leadership
Market knowledge (Coatings industry preferred)
Customer understanding
Various years of experience in sales management
Sensitivity, awareness & respect for varied cultures
