Overview

The Sales Manager-Corporate Insurance (B2B) plays a crucial role in our organization by leading the corporate insurance sales team in acquiring and retaining B2B clients. This position is vital in driving revenue growth and expanding our corporate insurance business.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate insurance sales targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the corporate insurance sales team to drive performance and meet sales objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with B2B clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of insurance products and services to corporate clients.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities and market trends.
  • Negotiate and finalize corporate insurance contracts and agreements with clients.
  • Manage the corporate insurance sales pipeline and report on sales activities, forecasts, and results to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, competitive landscape, and emerging trends to make informed business decisions.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote the corporate insurance offerings and expand the client base.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and materials tailored for the corporate insurance segment.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor the performance of the corporate insurance sales team and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all sales activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the corporate insurance sales processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales with a focus on corporate insurance products and services.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs in the insurance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate insurance products, underwriting, and risk management practices.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing and developing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities with a strong emphasis on building client relationships.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, market trends, and client requirements to develop tailored insurance solutions.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Professional certifications in insurance, such as CII or ACII, are preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to travel as needed to engage with corporate clients and attend business meetings and events.
  • Strong ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to upholding industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market dynamics and business priorities effectively.
