Job Description

Job Title: Sales Intern

Position Overview:

We are in search of an enthusiastic and driven Sales Intern to join our dynamic sales team. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to acquire practical experience in sales, marketing, and business development. The ideal candidate will be involved in various sales activities, market research, and client relationship building while gaining insight into the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients, and generate new leads through diverse channels such as online research and networking.
  • Client Outreach: Reach out to potential clients through phone, email, or social media to introduce our products/services and schedule meetings.
  • Sales Support: Aid the sales team by creating presentations, updating sales records, and managing customer databases.
  • Market Research: Analyze industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Meeting Participation: Attend sales meetings and workshops to gain insights into the sales process and contribute improvement ideas.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Assist in maintaining relationships with existing clients by providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Reporting: Track sales activities and prepare reports on performance metrics for review by the sales manager.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn about the sales process.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus but not required.
