Payment Internship Global Payments India (Hiring for Flywire)
Are you ready to work in a dynamic environment fueled by innovation in global payment solutions Intrust Global is hiring interns on behalf of Flywire, a leading name in the global payments industry, to support Flywire's Education Loan Bank relationships in India. This critical internship role focuses on enhancing and optimizing Flywire's payment capabilities, particularly in managing relationships across multiple levels within large corporate banking structures.
Period: 4 months
Start Date: 11th-15th of Nov 2024
Opportunity: Based on performance, potential for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO)
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with bank branches and regional offices to drive payments, ensuring timely and accurate execution of student loan payments.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with key banking partners across their functional teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for banking relationships, navigating layers of bank hierarchy, including branches, regional offices, and head offices.
- Optimize payment completion rates and identify opportunities for process improvements to meet target volumes.
- Collaborate closely with Flywire's Global Payments Team to suggest enhancements in the overall flow of payments.
- Identify potential process gaps and risks, reporting them internally for proactive action.
- Provide qualitative and quantitative feedback to support data-driven decision-making and strategic adjustments.
- Support Flywire's expansion efforts in India by contributing to the growth of their presence and payment capabilities in the education loan sector.
Our Ideal Candidate Has
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and Hindi; fluency in Telugu is mandatory.
- Academic Achievement: CGPA of 8+ consistently; 90%+ in Class 10, 12, and Graduation. Specialization in Marketing or Finance is preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to navigate relationships across multiple levels within organizations, including branch and regional offices.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously follow up and ensure successful payment completion.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Excel, Google Apps, and data analysis tools is desirable.
