Company Overview:
We are an emerging B2B startup specializing in heat pumps, committed to providing sustainable and energy-efficient solutions to our clients. We are currently in the launch phase, and this is a critical time for building and expanding our sales pipeline. We are looking for a dynamic and persuasive Sales Intern to help us reach new customers and grow our business. This role provides a great opportunity to demonstrate your skills and secure a permanent position with us, based on performance.
Role Summary:
As a Sales Intern, you will be directly involved in communicating with potential customers over the phone, building relationships, and promoting our products. Excellent English communication skills are a key requirement for this role, as you will be representing the company in all customer interactions. This internship will give you hands-on experience in selling high-value products in a B2B context. After the 3-month internship, your performance will be evaluated, and we may offer you a full-time position with new terms based on your ability to sell the product and meet targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Outreach: Initiate and manage outbound calls to potential customers to introduce and explain our heat pump products, focusing on their benefits and suitability for the customers business.
- Sales Pitching: Develop and deliver persuasive sales pitches, tailored to the customers needs and requirements.
- Lead Generation: Identify and nurture potential leads, following up with prospects, and building relationships with key decision-makers.
- Closing Sales: Work towards achieving sales targets by closing deals over the phone, explaining pricing, terms, and product specifications.
- CRM Management: Keep accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and outcomes using our customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Director and the sales team to align sales efforts with company goals.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Exceptional spoken and written English skills are a must, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
- Confidence in making outbound sales calls and handling potential customer objections.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- A strong desire to learn and improve sales skills.
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is an advantage but not required.
