Position Overview:
As a Sales Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the sales field. You will work closely with our sales team to support various sales activities, learn about our products/services, and develop valuable skills in customer relationship management, sales techniques, and market analysis. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to travel to meet clients in different locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team in identifying and generating new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand market trends.
- Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to gain exposure to the sales process.
- Travel to client locations as required to support sales activities and build relationships.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Help manage and follow up on sales leads and prospects.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sales and a desire to build a career in this field.
- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
