Overview
The Sales Head plays a critical role in driving the sales strategy, leading the sales team, and achieving revenue targets. They are responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and contribute to the company's success.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
- Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth
- Oversee the development and implementation of sales processes, policies, and procedures
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies for successful market entry
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
- Analyze sales data and develop insights to drive sales performance improvements
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the senior management team
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment with sales strategies
- Conduct regular performance evaluations to provide constructive feedback and support team development
- Negotiate and finalize key contracts and agreements with clients and partners
- Stay updated with industry trends, market activities, and competitors strategies
- Implement and enforce sales policies and compliance with regulatory requirements
