Senior Sales Manager (Mumbai Territory)

Company: A Leading Fashion Industry (exquisite fashion and bridesmaid lehengas)

Location: Mumbai, India

Salary Range: 50,000 - 80,000 per month (depending on experience)

About the Role:

As a Senior Sales Manager for the Mumbai territory, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our brand reach and driving sales growth within the fashion and bridesmaid lehenga market. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key retailers in and around Mumbai, ensuring company remains the top choice for these categories.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Mumbai territory, aligned with Company's overall sales objectives for fashion and bridesmaid lehengas.

Identify and qualify new retail partners, including fashion boutiques, multi-designer stores, and department stores catering to the occasion wear segment.

Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at retail outlets, showcasing the unique design aesthetic and quality of Company's fashion and bridesmaid lehengas.

Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring adherence to pricing and contract terms.

Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives.

Oversee sales activities in the territory, including order processing, delivery, and customer service.

Stay updated on market trends and competitor activity within the Mumbai fashion and bridesmaid lehenga market, identifying new opportunities.

Prepare and submit regular sales reports, analyzing performance and suggesting areas for improvement.

Represent Company at industry events and trade shows, promoting our brand and building relationships within the fashion and occasion wear segment.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2-7 years of experience in sales management, ideally within the fashion apparel or occasion wear industry.

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth in the textile sector.

In-depth knowledge of the Mumbai retail landscape for fashion and occasion wear, particularly bridesmaid lehengas.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence buying decisions.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a sales team (if applicable).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software (preferred).

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Ability to travel within the Mumbai region.
