Job Overview:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling travel packages, tours, and services to both individuals and groups. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for travel, and a proven track record in sales. The role requires proactive outreach, building relationships with clients, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Sales & Promotion:
- Promote and sell domestic and international travel packages, including flights, hotels, activities, and transportation.
Upsell and cross-sell additional travel services such as insurance, excursions, and car rentals.- Meet or exceed sales targets by reaching out to potential clients through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media.
Client Relationship Management:
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Assist clients in choosing the right travel package based on their preferences, needs, and budget.- Provide detailed and accurate travel information, including itineraries, visa requirements, and safety guidelines.
Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive packages, and emerging travel destinations.
Stay updated on travel industry developments, including promotions, regulations, and new travel destinations.Customer Service
: Address and resolve any client concerns or complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing support before, during, and after travel to ensure a smooth experience.
Ensure proper follow-up with clients to maintain relationships and encourage repeat business.Administrative Tasks
: Prepare invoices, receipts, and necessary documentation for bookings.
- Keep accurate records of all sales, client interactions, and customer preferences.
Collaborate with the travel operations team to ensure bookings and travel arrangements run smoothly.Team Collaboration
: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns.
- Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions to develop new strategies to increase sales.
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Travel, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of travel products, including domestic and international destinations.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in travel booking software and CRM systems.
