Job Description

SALES ENGINEER - SOUTH INDIA - BENGALURU BASED

Patvin Engineering Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced and dynamic sales engineer who can deliver measurable success in Sales. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, an excellent communicator, and can work well within a cooperative and friendly team as well as being able to work on their initiative. The primary focus of the role is to work with the customers and potential customers to develop and deliver a healthy lead generation, driving qualified leads into the sales pipeline and getting Sales Orders by converting opportunities into Orders.

The position is based in Bangalore for South India region.

The candidate would be required to travel domestically within Southern India and have the potential to travel internationally as we expand into international markets.

Educational Qualifications: Engineering diploma or Degree - Mechanical, Instrumentation, Electrical

Salary - 6 - 8 lakhs CTC

Experience:4 to 10 years in Sales of Industrial Products/Capital Goods/Equipment's - Electric machine tools, Pneumatic equipment or parts, Hydraulic equipment, Power tools, Electronic / control automation products, SPM's, Automation systems, Robotic systems etc to the Automotive OEM's, Automotive suppliers or other Industrial Products manufacturing companies

Industry/Sector Preference:

  • Selling systems or products to Automobile Manufacturing companies
  • Selling systems or products to Auto Components Manufacturers

Purpose of Job:

B2B sales Lead Generation of Industrial Products , EPC Projects, Automation Products , heavy machinery / capital goods, Robot system sales to Manufacturing companies.

Sales order closing and revenue generation to meet revenue targets.

Candidate must be staying in Bangalore and should know Kannada.

Job Description:

  • Visit customers and potential customers daily to get sales leads.
  • Identify strong potential prospects using various data mining options to generate leads and opportunities.
  • Manage, nurture, and convert leads into sales opportunities and eventually into orders. Discuss our quotations with customers and clarify all technical doubts.
  • Meet Sales Targets consistently
  • Assess and analyze a prospect's current process and requirements; and accordingly find the brand fit
  • Provide engaging and articulate information about Patvin's value proposition to potential customers.
  • Maintain well-organized, up-to-date and accurate sales information and activity reports in CRM system.
  • Collaboratively work with the marketing team and EI leadership to develop lead generation strategies to generate lead opportunities with prospective customers.
  • Learn to manage complex enterprise sales throughout the sales cycle.
  • Initiates and participates in new business pitches with sales team and subject matter experts and own follow through with the lead prospect.
  • Efficient management of the sales pipeline using Patvin's processes.
  • Confidently participate in the preparation of proposals and the presentation of professional product demonstrations, via webinars or face to face meetings.
  • Represent Patvin at corporate events or sales meetings independently or with colleagues.
  • Meet personal targets and work towards Patvin's sales goals and profitability.
  • Provide consistent, concise, accurate internal and external communications.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact professionally with potential customers via phone, email, telephone conferencing,
  • webinars, and face to face, to discover their business needs and develop a positive business relationship.
  • Providing consistent, concise, accurate and timely weekly/monthly sales lead gen activity reports to management
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, culture and business ethics.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of Patvin's products and services in order to facilitate the sales process.
  • Understand how the benefits of Patvin's products and services can meet customer's needs in various business verticals.
  • Effectively communicate and present the product solution and value proposition to customers.

Required Skill Sets:

  • Has highly developed all round interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, networking and negotiation skills.
  • Customer service oriented with a positive, well-motivated attitude.
  • Conscientious, hard-working and driven to improve sales and activity performance beyond targets.
  • Competent IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, google programs and social networking tools.
  • Experience of Salesforce would be preferred, but not essential.
  • Good organizational and time management skills with the flexibility to reprioritize, as necessary.
  • Must be highly proficient in all aspects of English language, especially speaking, listening, and writing skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work with global professionals.
  • Must be passionate about the automation industry and automation products.
