Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Engineer with a strong background in industrial automation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automation technologies and a proven track record in sales. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and providing technical expertise to support the sales process.
Key responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the industrial automation sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand client requirements and propose tailored automation solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure proposed solutions meet client needs.
  • Prepare detailed quotations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
  • Provide post-sales customer account handling and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
Technical Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar role within the industrial automation industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, SERVO, VFD, and other automation technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into effective solutions.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CRM software.
  • Familiarity with IoT and Industry 4.0 concepts.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Previous experience in a technical support or field service role.

Education Criteria:
