JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Director (South) will spearhead the strategic sales and business development initiatives for our Raised Floor business. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, and overseeing a team to achieve aggressive targets. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the construction and interior solutions market and have a proven record of driving sales growth in the South region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Build, nurture, and manage relationships with key influencers, decision-makers, and strategic partners, understanding and catering to their specific motivations.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with overall company objectives.
  • Provide visionary leadership to the sales and business development teams, fostering a high-performance culture.

Sales Management:

  • Drive the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets through effective planning and execution.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Market Expansion:

  • Utilize market insights and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and make proactive recommendations.
  • Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the client services team to address client needs and concerns promptly.

Team Development:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented team environment.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for professional development.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
  • Monitor expenses and revenue to achieve financial objectives.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other department heads to align sales and business development efforts with overall company strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement effective promotional activities.

Ideal Candidate Traits:

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the building materials, construction, or raised flooring industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, particularly within the South India region.
  • Strong network within the architecture, design, and construction community in South India.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team towards achieving strategic goals.

Salary would be in line with the experience.
