Position - Sales Development Representative

Location - Ahmedabad

Exp- 3 - 4 Years

Position Overview:


As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Peerbits Product, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging potential clients. Your primary responsibility is to generate interest in our software services and qualify leads for further engagement.

Job Responsibilities:


Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calls, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement.

Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to determine their fit for our software services.

Initiate initial conversations with potential clients to understand their needs and challenges.

Set up introductory meetings or appointments with prospects who express interest and meet qualification criteria.

Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions in the CRM system.

Continuously refine outreach strategies to improve lead generation and qualification.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

Lead Generation:


KPI: Number of leads generated.

KPI: Conversion rate of leads from initial contact to qualified lead.

Lead Qualification (Inbound + outbound)

KPI: Time taken to qualify leads.

KPI: Percentage of leads passed to the Technical Sales Manager

Quality of Leads

KPI: Percentage of qualified leads meeting the predefined criteria

KPI: Feedback from Technical Sales Managers or AEs

Communication and Collaboration:


KPI: Effectiveness in communicating lead details to Technical Sales Managers or AEs

KPI: Collaboration with the BDR team for improved lead-generation strategies

Pipeline Contribution:


KPI: Percentage of qualified leads that progress to the next stage in the sales pipeline

KPI: Contribution to overall sales pipeline value

Training and Development:


KPI: Participation in training programs

KPI: Improvement in lead qualification skills over time

Conversion Metrics:


KPI: Conversion rate from qualified lead to opportunity.

KPI: Contribution to closed deals or revenue generated.

Academic Requirements (Any one mandatory)

Bachelors of Business Administration

Bachelors of Commerce / Science / Arts

Job Requirements

Lives in or can move to Ahmedabad and having legal permission to work in India

At least 3 years of experience with core functions in Product, automated products & software, online / offline tendering and bidding process

Exhibit excellent oral and written communication and strong client presentation

Highly proactive and have a positive attitude

Desirable Skills

Communication skills : Must be able to clearly communicate the value of their company's Product / services to potential customers, whether through phone calls, emails, or in-person meetings. They need to be articulate and persuasive, and able to build rapport quickly.

Persistence : SDRs often face rejection and need to be able to bounce back and keep trying. They need to have the perseverance to follow up with leads and prospects consistently until a sale is made.

Organization : SDRs need to manage a large number of leads and keep track of their interactions with each prospect. They must be highly organized, able to prioritize effectively, and manage their time well.

Technical aptitude : SDRs in software / productneed to have a strong understanding of their company's software and how it fits into the market. They need to be able to understand technical requirements and communicate them effectively to potential customers.

Flexibility Need to be adaptable and able to learn quickly. They need to be comfortable with ambiguity and able to pivot quickly when needed.

Collaborative: SDRs need to work closely with other members of their sales team, as well as with marketing and product teams. They need to be able to collaborate effectively and share information to drive sales success.

Goal-oriented : SDRs are typically measured on their ability to generate leads and set up sales meetings. They need to be highly motivated and driven to achieve their goals, and comfortable working in a results-oriented environment.

Pay: 480,
  • 00 - 540,000.00 per year
