You get to work with an experienced founding team and get one-to-one interaction on a daily basis.

We have a bunch of partner companies who look to hire the best tech talent via us and your role would be to help them find the best candidates (Please note that this is not an internal hiring role but hiring for partner companies).

Funding: We are backed by Y Combinator (early investors in Stripe, Airbnb, DoorDash, Coinbase, Instacart, Dropbox, Twitch, and Reddit) and are a small, well-funded company.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential leads through various channels such as cold calling, email, and social media.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and refine lead generation tactics and strategies.
  • Engage in consultative selling techniques by understanding customer needs and effectively articulating value propositions.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage and track lead activities and update customer information.
  • Follow up and nurture leads through ongoing communication to move prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Research and gather information on market trends, industry developments, and competitive analysis to enhance lead generation efforts.
  • Meet and exceed assigned targets for lead generation and qualification.
  • Participate in sales meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies and tactics.
  • Provide feedback to the marketing and sales teams based on customer interactions and market insights.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products and services to effectively communicate value to potential customers.
  • Coordinate with sales representatives to schedule appointments and follow up on potential opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create and optimize targeted campaigns to drive lead generation efforts.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance sales skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the overall growth and success of the sales team through teamwork and collaboration.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding targets and metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales automation tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Understanding of sales methodologies and lead qualification processes.
  • Adaptability and resilience to rejection and challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve results.
  • Knowledge of market research and lead generation techniques.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for sales and customer engagement.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and develop sales skills and industry knowledge.

Salary: Rs 6 to 10 lakhs per annum
