Mktg.Doctor is seeking a high-caliber Sales Development Director to lead and elevate our sales development efforts. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive sales development strategy, overseeing a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), and achieving ambitious revenue goals.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Provide strategic direction and coaching to the SDR team, fostering a results-oriented and collaborative environment.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard top sales talent, cultivating a high-performing team.
- Develop and implement performance metrics and coaching programs to ensure continuous improvement.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Design and implement a data-driven sales development strategy aligned with Mktg.Doctor's overall sales goals. Identify and analyze market trends to uncover new business opportunities.
- Set clear goals and objectives for the SDR team, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed.
Process Improvement & Optimization:
- Continuously evaluate and optimize the sales development process for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implement new technologies and tools to enhance the SDR team's capabilities.
- Analyze lead generation and qualification data to identify areas for improvement.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Foster strong communication channels with the marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment and smooth lead flow.
- Present sales development initiatives and results to leadership stakeholders.
- Champion a culture of data-driven decision making within the sales development function.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales development leadership.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and building high-performing SDR teams.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies and best practices, including lead generation, qualification, and nurturing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Inspiring leadership style with a focus on coaching and development.
- Experience with CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce a plus).
