A brief snapshot of the role:

A Sales Coordinator in this role plays a critical part in coordinating and supervising Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) to drive sales, monitor revenue, and help achieve targets. This position involves conducting training sessions with both external and in-house trainers, ensuring assignments are completed on time, identifying new input suppliers, and connecting them with FPOs. The candidate must be proficient in sales support, coordination, and analysis, possessing strong organizational and communication skills to effectively support the sales function.

As a Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for;

Coordination, Supervision and Training:

  • Oversee and coordinate activities of FPOs to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Ensure FPOs meet their sales targets and monitor their progress regularly.
  • Facilitate communication between FPOs and potential input suppliers.
  • Conduct training sessions for FPOs with both external and in-house trainers.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and make improvements as necessary.

Market Research and Supplier Management:

  • Identify new input suppliers from the market and establish connections with FPOs.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure favorable deals for FPOs.
  • Maintain a database of potential and existing suppliers for easy reference.

Management Information Systems (MIS):

  • Prepare and maintain a comprehensive MIS for each FPO.
  • Analyze data to track the progress and performance of FPOs.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to management based on MIS data.

Assignment and Task Management:

  • Ensure all assignments and tasks are completed on time by FPOs.
  • Provide support and guidance to FPOs in completing their tasks effectively.
  • Monitor the status of ongoing projects and report any delays or issues to management.

Apply if you have:

  • M.Sc-Agriculture/ BBA/ MBA or any relevant Graduation degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales, Agri inputs, agricultural marketing, sales coordination
  • Strong knowledge of sales processes and best practices.
  • Excellent coordination and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and MIS preparation.
  • Ability to conduct effective training sessions.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for sales support and data management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi and Marathi.

Experience in the agriculture sector or working with FPOs will be preferred
